CSR INTIATIVES

The Institute hosts and participates in BLOOD DONATION CAMPS to create and spread awareness about blood donation among its students and Society.

 

The Institute initiates green drives in the form of TREE PLANTING exercises on a regular basis.

 

The Institute regularly creates awareness amongst its students and faculty regarding CSR

activities and encourages them to support CSR events.

 

ACT offers its Infrastructure and Lab facilities to MANY GOVERNMENT VOCATIONAL COURSES to enable and assist these students to work with the latest equipments.

 

Under CSR Initiative the College successfully organized DENGUE AWARENESS CAMPS at various villages in Coimbatore District especially in Pollachi and Kinathukadavu Taluks. 
During the camps, residents were briefed about dangers and prevention of Dengue by a team doctors and para-medical staff. Pamphlets on ways to prevent Dengue were distributed.

 

Besides this, HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMPS in association with Lions Club of Pollachi Liberty were also organized wherein free medical facilities/tests like BLOOD PRESSURE, WEIGHT AND RBS (RANDOM BLOOD SUGAR) were provided.

 

We arrange ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS CAMPS AND EYE DONATION AWARENESS CAMPS at reachable places and convey the message to the people to come forward to save lives. We aim to raise awareness about the use of safe procedures to donate organs for a noble cause and increase accessibility and facilitation to those in need of organ donors.

 

The POLIO IMMUNIZATION CAMPS are being organized at regular intervals by the Government of India. We have been extending our support to the PHC, Thamaraikulam during the Camps.

 

WORLD AIDS DAY AWARENESS PROGRAMMES, DRUG ADDICT AWARENESS PROGRAMME, NATIONAL VOTERS DAY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN SAMUTHAVA PONGAL are being organized in the Campus every year
